New York Roofscapes provides scheduled horticultural maintenance, irrigation management, and seasonal care for every rooftop terrace, garden courtyard, and amenity deck we design and build — and many we didn’t.

Our twice-monthly comprehensive visits cover every aspect of terrace maintenance — from plant health to structural integrity — so your outdoor space performs at the level it was designed to.

Horticultural Weeding

Hand-weeding of all planter beds and paver joints to keep the terrace free of invasive growth and maintain a polished, intentional appearance.

Pruning & Training

Selective pruning of perennials, shrubs, and ornamental grasses; training of climbing vines onto trellises and privacy screens to maintain form and coverage.

Climate-Adjusted Irrigation

Seasonal recalibration of drip and spray irrigation schedules to match current temperature, rainfall, and plant growth stage — preventing both drought stress and overwatering.

Roof Drain Maintenance

Clearing of all primary and overflow roof drains of leaf litter, soil, and debris to prevent ponding and protect the building envelope.

Twice-Annual Deep Cleaning

Thorough cleaning of all paver surfaces, furniture, planters, and structural elements twice per year — typically spring activation and fall winterization.

Documented Visit Log

Every visit is memorialized in a job-specific log: date, conditions, work performed, plant health observations, and any recommended follow-up actions — available to building management on request.

Garden Pest Control

We monitor and treat for garden pests using the most natural, organic-based compounds available — protecting your flowering perennials without harsh chemicals, and keeping your terrace safe for people, pollinators, and the urban environment.

Cleaning & Systems Function Tests

On every visit, all paver surfaces, furniture, planters, and structural elements are cleaned and every irrigation zone, drain, and lighting circuit is function-tested — results logged and verified in the job record, available to building management on request.

Every maintenance visit is memorialized in a job-specific log maintained for the life of the service agreement. Each entry records the date, weather conditions, work performed, plant health observations, irrigation adjustments, and any recommended follow-up actions.

Building management companies and co-op boards can request access to the visit log at any time — providing a complete, auditable record of all horticultural and structural maintenance performed on the amenity deck.
